The bill (Reg.No.10031) submitted by
the people?s deputy R.Kniazevych stipulates amending
the Law "On Operational Activities" as well as the Criminal and Procedural Code
in the part of informing a person against whom measures regarding secret entry
into a housing or other property of the person are taken; information retrieval
from the person?s communication channels; control over correspondence, telephone
conversations, telegraph and other correspondences; implementation of other
technical means to gain information, only after such measures were taken.
The
Committee members noted that the suggested amendments are unfounded, contradict
legislation in the sphere of operational activities and state secret; and also
do not take into account the fact that the Criminal and Procedural Code of
Ukraine will come into force on November 19, 2012.
